Meet Dr. Carole Do

m.chiro

Dr. Carole Do began her career working as an acupuncturist and researcher largely focusing on complimentary medicine in pregnancy, fertility and IVF. During her practice as an acupuncturist, Carole found herself being drawn to treating people with musculoskeletal pain which lead her to  learn and incorporate Chinese massage into her practice. Carole then took the opportunity to learn chiropractic at Macquarie University and has since spent her time studying, treating and guiding others on the bio-mechanical management of their bodies. Carole has completed a Bachelor of Applied Science majoring in Traditional Chinese Medicine, a Bachelor of Honours in Research and received her Masters of Chiropractic degree in 2014.

Carole lived in England and Scotland for 5 years spending most of her time practising in a busy chiropractic clinic in London. Carole was lucky enough to be able to travel and locum in different chiropractic clinics in the U.K. specialising in different forms of chiropractic such as Diversified, Drop piece, ABC (Advanced BioStructural Correction) and Activator.

Since returning back to Sydney’s inner west Carole is thrilled at the opportunity to be able to draw from her experience abroad and share it with her community.

Carole’s approach to chiropractic care

At ChiroRelief Carole draws from her experience as a chiropractor, an acupuncturist and a massage therapist to tailor her treatment to you. Carole employs a wide range of techniques including soft tissue techniques, massage, spinal manipulation, spinal decompression, needling and rehabilitative exercise. She has found her specialty in neck and back pain as well as postural correction, but also enjoys treating all other musculoskeletal disorders from jaw to shoulder and knee pain as well as headaches. Carole’s goal is not just to get people out of pain but also help them stay that way. She finds much enjoyment in helping others reach their goals, whether it is to complete marathons or to simply keep up with their grandchildren.
